Casual Staff Position
Position Title: Part-Time Retail Supervisor
Location: in person, Sydney, Millers Point, 2000 NSW
Reports To: Store Manager
Hours: 20-25 hours per week, including regular Saturday shifts

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly reliable, experienced, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Retail Supervisor. This is an ongoing, stable position with significant potential for growth within our esteemed brand. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for the performing arts industry and a desire for a long-term career in a dynamic retail environment, rather than a temporary engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, assisting clients with product selection and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Specialised Fittings: Conduct expert shoe fittings, leveraging product knowledge to ensure optimal comfort and performance for dancers and performers.

Store Operations: Assist with daily store opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is ready for trade and secured at end of day.

Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including inventory management, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Team Support: Support the Store Manager in daily operations, contributing to a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of LaDuca Shoes products, materials, and their suitability for various dance and theatre disciplines.
Skills & Experience:

Proven reliability and a strong work ethic.

A genuine interest in or understanding of the musical theatre and dance industry is required.

Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service role, preferably within a specialised or high-end retail environment.

Experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity is highly regarded.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

A keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities.

Proficiency in basic administrative tasks and POS systems.
