Role Overview: We are seeking a highly reliable, experienced, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Store Manager. This is an ongoing, stable position, with great environment and within our esteemed and growing international brand! You will be responsible for Sydney Store, reporting directly to overseas Director. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for the performing arts industry and a desire for a long-term career in a dynamic luxury retail environment. This is an exceptional brand with a harmonious work-culture, and a growing vision ahead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business & Finance: Manage store finances, including reconciliations and reporting. High proficiency in Xero and payroll management is highly advantageous.
- Inventory Management: Oversee both digital and physical inventory systems to ensure seamless stock levels and order fulfillment.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of casual staff, including recruitment, training, and managing weekly rosters.

Sales Oversight: Drive store performance and maintain the premium sales standards associated with the LaDuca brand.

Expert Fittings: Conduct specialized shoe fittings for performers.

Inherent Physical Requirements: To perform the essential duties of this role, the candidate must be able to kneel for client shoe fittings, use ladders to access high-shelf inventory, and move stock/delivery boxes as required.
- Administrative Hub: While active on the floor, many duties (finance, rosters, and reporting) are managed from the store’s central computer desk.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven reliability, resilience, integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Proven Management: Previous experience as a Store Manager or Retail Manager is required. Experience with dance shoes fitting highly regarded (but not a must).
- Industry Passion: A keen understanding of or genuine passion for the musical theatre and dance industry is essential to connect with our niche clientele.
- Technical Savvy: Experience with Xero and modern POS/Inventory systems.Autonomy: Ability to operate independently while maintaining clear communication with international leadership, with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities.
